Inspection/Thermal Transmitter

CHECK THERMAL TRANSMITTER
Refer to "THERMAL TRANSMITTER CHECK " .

OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 2.
2. NG: Replace.
CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN OR SHORT
1. Disconnect combination meter connector and thermal transmitter connector.
2. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector terminal 18 and transmitter harness connector terminal 1.
  Continuity should exist.
3. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector terminal 18 and ground.
  Continuity should not exist.

OK or NG
1. OK: Thermal transmitter is OK.
2. NG: Repair harness or connector.
