One Gauge Malfunctioning (Excluding Speedometer & Trip Odometer): Tachometer

If tachometer is malfunctioning, check for the following and repair as necessary:

• Perform self-diagnostic system test. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  .
• Faulty engine revolution sensor (tachometer malfunction) or faulty tachometer circuit. See TACHOMETER CIRCUIT TEST  .
• Faulty combination meter Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC).
• Faulty speedometer.
