During probe out or when an air bag malfunction occurs, the ground path is interrupted from the air bag diagnosis sensor unit terminal 15 to combination meter terminal 56.

Ground is supplied through combination meter terminal 61.

When power and ground are supplied, the air bag warning lamp (LEDs) illuminates.
