Coolant Temperature Sending Unit

Disconnect coolant temperature sending unit harness connector. See Fig 2 . Measure resistance between ground and coolant temperature sending unit terminal at indicated temperatures. See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE table. If resistance is not as specified, replace coolant temperature sending unit.
