Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
When removing or installing body side welts, do not allow butyl seal to come in contact with pillar garnish and headlining.
- Remove rear seats. Refer to "REAR SEAT ".
- Remove shoulder anchor bolts. Refer to "Front Seat Belt article.
- Remove front pillar garnishes, center pillar upper garnishes and rear pillar garnishes. Refer to "SIDE AND FLOOR TRIM ".
- Remove steering wheel. Refer to DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE & SPIRAL CABLE for details.
- Push back the front seatback.
- Remove two screws from the roof console of map lamp and sunroof finisher, and insert a removal tool wrapped in a clean cloth between the right-hand side of the map light and the sunroof finisher, then disconnect connectors. A
- Remove sun visors.
- Remove assist grips. B
- Remove interior lamp assembly, then disconnect connectors. C
- Remove metal clip securing headlining, then remove headlining from vehicle through front passenger side.
