Entering Self-Diagnostic Mode
Turn ignition switch to ON and change odometer/trip meter to "TRIP A" or "TRIP B". Turn ignition switch to OFF. Turn ignition switch to ON while pushing odometer/trip meter switch. Confirm that trip meter indicates "000.0". Push odometer/trip meter switch more than 3 times within 5 seconds. All odometer/trip meter segments should be turned on. See Fig 1 . At this point, the unified control meter is turned to diagnosis mode. If some segments are not turned on, speedometer (unified meter control unit) with odometer/trip meter should be replaced. Push odometer/trip meter switch. Indication of each meter/gauge should be as shown left during pushing odometer/trip meter switch if it is no malfunctioning. See Fig 2 . It takes about one minute for indication of fuel gauge to become stable.
