Removal & Installation (4WD - Frontier, Pathfinder, QX4 & Xterra)

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Remove caliper, but DO NOT disconnect hydraulic line. Wire caliper aside. See FRONT BRAKE CALIPER . See Figure
  2. Ensure locking hub is set in the "FREE" position. Remove locking hub. Remove wheel bearing lock nut. Remove snap ring, spindle washer, thrust washer, lock washer and lock nut. Remove hub and rotor assembly. Separate rotor from hub. To install, reverse removal procedure.
