Parking Brake: Quest
- Raise and support rear of vehicle. Press and release parking brake pedal several times until clicking sound from rear brakes is not present. Rotate rear wheels to ensure there is no drag when parking brake is released.
- Loosen lock nut and rotate adjusting nut on brake cable adjuster. Depress parking brake pedal with 44 lbs. (20 kg) of force, counting the number of notches. Adjust parking brake stroke to required setting by tightening or loosening brake adjuster. See PARKING BRAKE LEVER STROKE SPECIFICATIONS . Release parking brake and ensure rear wheels rotate freely. Adjust warning lamp switch if necessary. Readjust rear brakes.
