Gauge Resistance
Remove combination meter (instrument cluster). See COMBINATION METER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) by holding both ends of FPC connector lock and pulling it up. Using DVOM, measure resistance between specified gauge retaining screws of combination switch. See GAUGE RESISTANCE table. See Fig 1 .
