Rear Suspension Parts
Check rear axle and rear suspension parts for excessive play, wear and damage.
- Shake each rear wheel to check for excessive play. See Fig 1 .
- Retighten all nuts and bolts to the specified torque. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Check shock absorber for oil leakage and other damage. See Fig 2 .
- Check shock absorber bushing for excessive wear and the damage.
- Check wheelarch height. With vehicle unladen, park vehicle on level surface. Measure wheel arch height from highest edge of wheel arch to ground. See WHEEL ARCH HEIGHT SPECIFICATIONS table.
