Fuel Gauge Warning Indicator Sensor: I30

Remove fuel gauge sending unit from fuel tank. Check continuity between terminals No. 3 and 4 at fuel gauge sending unit. See Figure . With float between empty and below 0.39" (10 mm) above empty, continuity should exist. With float raised above 0.39" (10 mm), continuity should not exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace fuel gauge sending unit.
