Installation (I30)
- Install torsion beam and hand-tighten mounting bolts. DO NOT tighten bolts at this time. Place lateral link and control rod horizontally against torsion beam. Tighten lateral link mounting nuts. Install shock absorbers and tighten lower mounting bolts.
- To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. With vehicle on the ground, tighten torsion beam bolts. Tighten nuts/bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
