Removal & Installation (J30)
- Cover axle shaft boots with shop towels. Remove wheel bearing nut. Tap axle shaft from hub. If axle shaft is tight, use puller. Remove brake caliper and rotor, leaving hose attached. See Fig 1.
- Remove knuckle. Remove hub with slide hammer and puller. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts/bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
