G20 (A/T Before Serial No. 450021 & M/T) & J30

Install TP sensor, leaving mounting bolts slightly loose. Start engine and bring to full operating temperature. Backprobe harness side of TP sensor connector and measure sensor output voltage. See Fig 1 . Rotate sensor body so that output voltage reads 0.45-0.55 volt. Tighten mounting bolts, and recheck voltage reading. Disconnect TP sensor connector for a few seconds, and then reconnect it.
