Speed Sensor Signal Check: G20

  1. Disconnect speedometer cable from instrument cluster, and remove instrument cluster. Insert a small screwdriver into speedometer cable hole behind speedometer.
  2. While slowly rotating sensor using screwdriver, use an ohmmeter to check continuity between terminals No. 14 and 15. See Fig 1 . Continuity should exist twice for each revolution. If continuity is not as specified, replace sensor as necessary.
