Front Cover Oil Seal: Installation

  1. Coat seal lip of new front cover oil seal with engine oil. Using suitable diameter oil seal installer, install front cover oil seal.
  2. Install crankshaft pulley. Coat crankshaft pulley retaining bolt threads and seat area below head of bolt with oil. Install and tighten retaining bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
