Entering Self-Diagnostics Mode

Turn ignition OFF. Immediately start engine. Within 10 seconds after engine has started, push select switch alternately from COMFORT to SPORT to COMFORT at least 5 times, ending up on COMFORT position.
Drive vehicle forward on a flat surface at least 10 feet, turn steering wheel at least 90 degrees, stop vehicle and depress and release brake pedal. The self-diagnostic mode should now be in COMFORT position.
When all system circuits are normal, the select switch indicator displays a 0.1 second signal. See Fig 1 . When a system malfunction exists, the indicator displays a one second signal. See Fig 1 . Identify malfunctioning components and proceed to symptom chart. See Fig 1 - Fig 3 .
