Sonar Suspension: Operation

The system automatically adjusts the damping force of the shock absorbers according to road surface and driving conditions. The damping force will normally be adjusted firm (SPORT) when the vehicle stops and ignition is turned off.

By pressing the select switch with ignition on, the damping force can be adjusted to either SPORT or COMFORT. For normal driving, the COMFORT position should be selected. With select switch set to the SPORT position, a firm ride is obtained.
