Diagnostic Information Display

With the ignition switch turned on, the warning light information display located on left lower portion of the instrument cluster (combination meter) will indicate OK for 8 seconds if there is no malfunction in the monitored circuits. After 8 seconds the twin tripmeter will appear. See Figure -14.

The tripmeter will cease to appear if any warning signal is detected and diagnostic information will be displayed. If more than one malfunction is detected, messages will be displayed at 8 second intervals. If a warning message is being displayed, the tripmeter display can be obtained for 8 seconds by pushing the trip reset switch.
