DTC Data Analysis
- Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Diagnose ESP (ESC) and select the "Rear Right Wheel Speed Sensor" parameter in the "Current Data" menu of GDS.
- Monitor if the value changes according to vehicle speed.
Specification: Vary by vehicle speed
- Is the value within specification?
YES
- Go to next procedure.
- This can be an intermittent fault caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or control module's connector. Or, control module's memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, ending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace the relevant component(s) as necessary, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- If there is any DTC related to the Wheel Speed Sensor, inspect it first. Then, see if the DTC is cleared.
- Go to next procedure.
