- Is the measrured signal waveform normal?
YES
- Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check a circuit open and short of the CAN cummunication line, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Substitute a known-good Occupant Detection System ECU and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace Occupant Detection System ECU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure and Go to "ZERO RE-CALIBRATION OF OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR ". procedure.
