Monitor GDS Data

  1. Ignition "OFF", connect GDS.
  2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF", select "Diagnostic Time Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
  3. Monitor Diagnostic Time trouble code and present of trouble code.
  4. Using a GDS, clear the DTC.
  5. Is DTC present problem?

    YES 

    • Check if there is DTC related "B111117 Ignition Voltage High" or "B111216 Ignition Voltage Low" or "B176300 OCS ECU defect" or "B176400 OCS Mat defect" or "B17672F OCS Algo cut-off" for Occupant Detection System if so, refer to DTC procedures of Occupant Detection System and repair or change. appropriate part and then perform Verification of Vehicle Repair.
    • Go to "W/Harness Inspection" procedure.

    NO 

    • Displaying nothing (no DTC) or DTC with label "H" (historical) shows that Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the part's and/or SRSCM connector or was repaired and SRSCM memory was not cleared.
    • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
