DTC Setting Condition

Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor CAN messages
  1. Faulty ESP (ESC) system
Prerequisite condition
  • Engine is on (Confirm that an engine operation signal is sent from EMS for over 2 sec.).
  • Battery Voltage is between 9V and 16V.
  • Ignition has been on for over 2 sec.
  • CAN communication lines are normal.
Threshold Value
  • A control failure message over the FCA is received from the ESP (ESC).
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.5 sec.
MIL
  • FCA operation cancelled/inhibited (SCC works normally)
  • FCA warning lamp ON (SCC warning lamp OFF)
