Power Circuit and Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. BSD switch connector: Disconnected
  2. Ignition switch: "ON"
BSD switch power terminal Chassis ground
Power circuit (open/short): resistance Below 0.1Ω

  2. Ignition switch: OFF
BSD switch ground circuit terminal Chassis ground
  1. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    • Repair an open/short between the power circuit and wire harness. Then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
    • Replace the BSD ECU (LH) with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the BSD ECU (LH) and see if it works properly.
    • Repair relevant component(s) as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Inspect the power circuit connector and check for an open/short in wire harness.
    • Repair relevant component(s) as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
