Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

Information 

  1. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the front door scuff trim (A).

  2. Remove the hook area of hood latch release handle (A) by holding it with a cylindrical remover.

  3. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the cowl side trim (A).

  4. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [LH] (A).

  5. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the crash pad lower panel (A).

  6. Disconnect the crash pad lower switch connectors (A).

  7. Loosen the mounting screw and remove the crash pad garnish [LH] (A).

  8. Disconnect the crash pad side switch connectors (A).

  9. Remove the crash pad air vent duct [LH]

  10. Remove the center fascia panel (A) and Loosen the mounting screw (B).

  11. Remove the cluster fascia panel (A).

  12. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
