Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
Information
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the front door scuff trim (A).
- Remove the hook area of hood latch release handle (A) by holding it with a cylindrical remover.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the cowl side trim (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [LH] (A).
- Loosen the mounting screws and remove the crash pad lower panel (A).
- Disconnect the crash pad lower switch connectors (A).
- Loosen the mounting screw and remove the crash pad garnish [LH] (A).
- Disconnect the crash pad side switch connectors (A).
- Remove the crash pad air vent duct [LH]
- Remove the center fascia panel (A) and Loosen the mounting screw (B).
- Remove the cluster fascia panel (A).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
