DTC B1732-00: Anchor Pretensioner Front-Driver Resistance Circuit Short To Ground: General Description

Driver Anchor Pretensioner operates as a second Belt Pretensioner if it gets into a deployment condition after a collision. It is located near anchor on driver seat and it makes up for the existing short stroke. Driver Anchor Pretensioner is supported by two cables and it is an auxiliary to prevent a driver from breaking away as seat belt is being pulled toward anchor side after a collision.
