Monitor GDS Data
- Ignition "OFF", connect GDS.
- Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF", select "Current Data " mode.
- Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
- Using a GDS, clear the DTC.
- Is DTC present problem?
YES
- Check if there is DTC related "B111117 Ignition Voltage High" or "B111216 Ignition Voltage Low" or "B176300 OCS ECU defect" or "B176400 OCS Mat defect" or "B17672F OCS Algo cut-off" for OCS (Occupant Classification System) if so, refer to (OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS ) and repair or change appropriate part and then perform Verification of Vehicle Repair.
- Go to "WIRING INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Displaying nothing (no DTC) or DTC with label "H" (historical) shows that Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the part's and/or SRSCM connector or was repaired and SRSCM memory was not cleared.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
