DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor Data
  1. MIL wire harness and connector
  2. SRSCM wire harness and connector
  3. Check SRSCM and Cluster CAN signals.
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch ON
Threshold Value
  • MIL CAN messages from the SRSCM and the cluster do not match
Diagnostic Time Qualification
  • More than 1 sec
De-Qualification
  • More than 2 sec
NOTE: If the DTC sets as history, it is not necessary to replace SRSCM.
