Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC)
  2. Ignition switch ON and the Engine OFF, select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
  3. Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)"
  4. Using the GDS, clear the DTC.
  5. Adults needs to be sat down on the passenger seat.
  6. Monitor the "OCS Type2 Real Time Stauts-Passenger Of "Current Data" parameter on the GDS".

  7. Are the parameters displayed correctly?

    YES 

    • Displaying no DTC or a DTC with a label "H" (historical) shows that the fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of the part's and/or SRSCM's connector. Or, the SRSCM memory was not cleared after repair.
    • Thoroughly check the battery terminal and all connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Go to "W/Harness Inspection" procedure.
