Monitor GDS Data
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC)
- Ignition switch ON and the Engine OFF, select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
- Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)"
- Using the GDS, clear the DTC.
- Adults needs to be sat down on the passenger seat.
- Monitor the "OCS Type2 Real Time Stauts-Passenger Of "Current Data" parameter on the GDS".
- Are the parameters displayed correctly?
YES
- Displaying no DTC or a DTC with a label "H" (historical) shows that the fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of the part's and/or SRSCM's connector. Or, the SRSCM memory was not cleared after repair.
- Thoroughly check the battery terminal and all connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- Go to "W/Harness Inspection" procedure.
