Monitor GDS Data
- Ignition switch "OFF", connect GDS.
- Ignition switch "ON" and the engine OFF, select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
- Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
- Using a GDS, clear the DTC.
- Is DTC present problem?
YES
- Check if there is DTC related "B111117 Ignition Voltage High" or "B111216 Ignition Voltage Low" or "B176300 OCS ECU defect" or "B176400 OCS Mat defect" or "B17672F OCS Algo cut-off" for Occupant Classification System (OCS) if so, refer to DTC procedures of Occupant Classification System (OCS) and repair or change appropriate part and then perform Verification of Vehicle Repair.
- Go to "W/Harness Inspection" procedure.
NO
- Displaying no DTC or a DTC with a label "H" (historical) shows that the fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of the part's and/or SRSCM's connector. Or, the SRSCM memory was not cleared after repair.
- Thoroughly check the battery terminal and all connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
