  4. Is the result within specifications?

    YES

    • Displaying no DTC or a DTC with a label "H" (historical) shows that the fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of the part's and/or SRSCM's connector. Or, the SRSCM memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check the battery terminal and all connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO

    • Check for short between ignition circuits of DAB, PAB, BPT, CAB, SAB. If the condition of harness and component is OK, this fault is caused by SRSCM internal error so replace a known-good SRSCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
