DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor voltage
  1. Check assembly of Squib
  2. Poor connection of Squib connector
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch ON
Threshold Value
  • Squib lines are cross coupled
  • Make other line sink, and then other squib line answers
Diagnostic Time Qualification
  • Early IGN On only
De-Qualification
  • Next IGN cycle
NOTE: If the DTC sets as history, it is not necessary to replace SRSCM.
