DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor voltage
  1. Poor connection of battery terminal and SRSCM connector
  2. SRSCMU power circuit
  3. SRSCM ground circuit and chassis ground
  4. Charging system (check battery and alternator)
  5. SRSCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch ON
Threshold Value
  • Battery voltage is less than 6.17V
Diagnostic Time Qualification
  • More than 4 sec
De-Qualification
  • More than 4 sec
NOTE: If the DTC sets as history, it is not necessary to replace SRSCM.
