The OCS (Occupant Classification System) monitors a front passenger seat for occupancy by means of a pressure sensitive matrix
The SRSCM recognizes the signal as 2 (two) different classifications; that is, 0 (Empty/Child), 1 (Seat Occupied) With these signal, SRSCM determines whether it needs to deploy the PAB (Passenger Airbag) or not.
