DTC Description

This DTC is set when a malfunction is detected in the Supplemental Restraint System Control Module (SRSCM) internal main acceleration sensor (lateral acceleration sensor, G-sensor).

(B162000 will be set when this defect is detected during the initialization diagnosis. If the same defect is detected during 3 ignition cycles in a row, B162000 will not be cleared and stored as a history code even if the trouble is corrected.)

* A defect in any internal sensor sets B16DX. And this can cause B16200 to set if certain conditions are met. If this happens, the DTC information also presents B16DX.
