Repair Procedures: Replacement
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
CAUTION:
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Using a flat-tip screwdriver or remover and remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).
- Remove the crash pad under cover (A).
- Remove the floor console.

- Remove the cowl side trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "COWL SIDE TRIM ")
- Remove the glove box.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "GLOVE BOX ")
- Remove the Crash Pad lower panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
- Remove the crash pad center garnish.
(Refer to "CRASH PAD GARNISH ")
- Remove the AVN keyboard assembly
(Refer to AVN System - "AVN KEYBOARD ASSEMBLY ")
- Loosen the mounting screws, nuts, bolt and remove the crash pad center panel (A).
- Press the lock pin and separate the in car sensor connector (A).
- Separate the glove box lamp switch connector (A) and glove box lamp connector (B).
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
- Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
