DTC Description

This DTC is set when a malfunction is detected in the Supplemental Restraint System Control Module (SRSCM) internal squib ASIC.

(B162000 will be set when this defect is detected during the initialization diagnosis. If the same defect is detected during 3 ignition cycles in a row, B162000 will not be cleared and stored as a history code even if the trouble is corrected.)

* A defect in any internal sensor sets B16DX. And this can cause B16200 to set if certain conditions are met. If this happens, the DTC information also presents B16DX.
