Rear Seat Belt Pretensioner
- Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least 3 minutes before beginning work.NOTE:
- When installing the belt, make sure not to damage the pretensioner.
- Install the rear seat belt pretensioner.
Tightening torque:
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m, 28.8 - 39.8 lb-ft)
- Install the rear seat belt lower anchor bolt.
Tightening torque:
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m, 28.8 - 39.8 lb-ft)
- Install the rear pillar trim.
(Refer to Body - "REAR PILLAR TRIM ")
- Reconnect the battery negative cable.
- After installing the seat belt pretensioner, confirm proper system operation:
- Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should be turned on for about six seconds and then go off.
