Monitor GDS Data
- Ignition switch "OFF", connect GDS.
- Ignition switch "ON" and the engine OFF, select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
- Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
- Using a GDS, clear the DTC.
- Is DTC present problem?
YES
- In the option vehicles which is not equipped with Curtain and Side airbag, If a side collision occurs over specific impact values, this DTC is set. If you could not clear the DTC, replace a new SRSCM, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR "
NO
- Displaying nothing (no DTC) or DTC with label "H"(historical) shows that Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the part's and/or SRSCM connector or was repaired and SRSCM memory was not cleared.
- Thoroughly check release pin and connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
