Monitor GDS Data
- Ignition switch "OFF", connect GDS.
- Ignition switch "ON" and the engine OFF, select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
- Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
- Using a GDS, clear the DTC.
- Is parameter displayed within specifications?
YES
- When the seat-belt pretensioner, curtain-airbag, or side-airbag is be unfolded by a vehicle's turnover accident, A code is recorded on the SRSCM. Substitute with a SRSCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace SRSCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.NOTE: If you strike or spin the SRSCM at the IG "ON" state, the seat-belt pretensioner, curtain-airbag or side-airbag could be unfolded and bring on danger. Handle it with care.
