W/Harness Inspection
- An electric device consists of numerous wires and connectors. Poor connection of such connectors causes various problems and damage components.
- Check the following items.
- Damage of wire and terminal: Check for open, degradation in the sheath of the wire and contact resistance, and/or oxidation and deformation of the terminal.
- Connection status of the connector: Check for damage of the locking device, disconnection of the terminal, and the connection status between the terminal and the wire.CAUTION: Remove the male side pin of the connector needing to be checked and insert it to the female side terminal to check its contact status. After checking, install the removed pin in its regular position correctly.
- Has a problem been found?
YES
- Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to "CAN COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
