Monitor DTC Status

Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)," and click "DTC Status" to check DTC information.
Read the "DTC State" parameter.
Record all DTCs, DTC state and freeze frame data before clearing them. Is the DTC State "Present?"
YES
- Check the DTC of the AVN and, if there is a DTC, repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Fault can be intermittent, caused by poor contact of the sensor's and/or control module's connector. Or, the module memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor contact, bending, corrosion, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace relevant component(s) as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair ".

NOTE: Perform following items when HPCU is replaced or reassembled

Carry out "HCU/LDC" system → "Optional function" → "Engine Clutch/Motor Resolver Adaptation".
Refill the coolant and circulate the coolant by carrying out "Actuation" → "Electronic Water Pump (EWP)".

Carefully read and follow service information instructions.
Wear insulated gloves, safety glasses and use insulated tools for your safety.
Turn the ignition switch off and disconnect a ground cable of the auxiliary battery and remove the service plug.
Wait for more than 5 minutes so that the inverter capacitor can be naturally discharged.
Make sure that the high voltage terminal of Power Relay Assembly is lower than 30V.
