DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring CAN messages
  1. Faulty CGW System (IGPM)
  2. Open or short in C-CAN communication line
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch 'ON'
  • Battery voltage is between 9 volts and 16 volts
Threshold Value
  • The CGW message is not received during 2 seconds within normal voltage condition
  • The fault is not checked during 2 seconds after ignition switch turns on
  • The fault is not checked if the CAN BUS-off fault is detected
Warning Lamp
  • EPB warning lamp 'ON'
