Monitor DTC Status
- Vehicle parked and Ignition switch 'ON'.
- Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
- Click "DTC Status" on the "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" menu bar to see "DTC Information".
- If DTC Status is "Present" fault, then go to the next procedure, and if it is "History" fault, then clear DTC and check the same DTC reoccurs.
- Is parameter displayed "Present" fault?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good EPB Module and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace EPB Module, and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
- Perform actuation by EPB switch and check whether it is operating correctly.
NO
- This fault was repaired and EPB Module memory was not cleared. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
