DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring CAN messages
  1. Faulty Cluster System
  2. Faulty EPB System
  3. Open or short in C-CAN communication line
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch 'ON'
  • Battery voltage is between 9 volts and 16 volts
  • No CAN Bus Off
Threshold Value
  • When it received abnormal Cluster CAN message (driver door, seat belt, hood, trunk signal, hood status switch, etc.) from Cluster via CAN during 10 times (1 second) within normal voltage condition
  • The fault is not checked during 2 seconds after ignition switch turns on
Warning Lamp
  • EPB warning lamp 'ON'
