DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring CAN messages
  1. Faulty TCM
  2. Faulty EPB System
  3. Open or short in C-CAN communication line
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch 'ON'
  • Battery voltage is between 9 volts and 16 volts
  • No CAN Bus Off
Threshold Value
  • When EPB received abnormal CAN message (gear position, etc.) via CAN during 50 times (500 milliseconds) within normal voltage condition
  • The fault code is not checked during 2 seconds after the ignition switch turns on
Warning Lamp
  • EPB warning lamp 'ON'
