Check Open in C-CAN Communication Line

  1. Ignition switch 'OFF'.
  2. Disconnect EPB Module connector and Cluster connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between C-CAN High terminal of EPB Module harness connector and C-CAN High terminal of Cluster harness connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between C-CAN Low terminal of EPB Module harness connector and C-CAN Low terminal of Cluster harness connector.

    Specification  : Below 1Ω

  5. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Check Cluster, EPB Module connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
