DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring CAN messages
  1. Cluster System
  2. Open or short in C-CAN communication line
  3. Faulty ESP Control Module
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch 'ON'
  • Battery voltage is between 9 volts and 16 volts
Threshold Value
  • Cluster CAN message is not received during 500 milliseconds or Cluster message is not received during 5 seconds within normal voltage condition
  • The fault is not checked during 2 seconds after the ignition switch turns on
  • The fault is not checked if the CAN Bus-off fault is detected
Warning Lamp
  • EPB warning lamp 'ON'
