DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring CAN messages
  1. Faulty ESP(ESC) System
  2. Open or short in C-CAN communication line
  3. Faulty ESP Control Module
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch 'ON'
  • Battery voltage is between 9 volts and 16 volts
Threshold Value
  • Monitoring a fault in case of ESP(ESC) CAN message (brake signal, wheel speed signal, etc.) is not received for 500 milliseconds
Warning Lamp
  • EPB warning lamp 'ON'
