DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring CAN Signal
  1. Poor connection
  2. Power supply to each Module
  3. Open or short in EPB Module communication line
  4. Faulty IGPM (Integrated Gateway & Power control Module: Including Smart Junction Box and Central Gate Way)
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch 'ON'
Threshold Value
  • When the state of the CAN Bus Off occurs, the CAN communication is initialized and has recovery time during 70 milliseconds within normal voltage condition
  • When the situation of above state occurs more than 10 times
Warning Lamp
  • EPB warning lamp 'ON'
